Biography

Troy Williams has been shaping spaces and building ventures across the globe since 1997. With a multidisciplinary background spanning development, architecture, construction management, real estate investment, and property management, Troy brings a comprehensive and creative approach to every project he touches.

He has lived and worked in London, Rome, Singapore, Japan, and spent 17 years in China, where he co-founded a real estate investment company and launched a global investment platform on WeChat to connect like-minded property investors around the world.

Troy began his entrepreneurial journey by founding a Shanghai-based architecture firm, where he designed, developed, and delivered over one million square feet of residential, retail, and hospitality space. His client portfolio included renowned brands like Coca-Cola, Westin, Hines, and Ritz-Carlton. In 2014, his firm was acquired by Ashley Furniture, where he led real estate expansion, design, and operations growing the business from just 10 stores to 250 in just 4 years, as Director of Store Operations – China.

In 2018, Troy joined WeWork China as Regional Head of Enterprise Services, overseeing tailored workspace solutions for global real estate and technology clients including many Fortune 500 companies throughout Asia.

Troy is a passionate operator and self-proclaimed “Excel nerd” with deep expertise in hyper-scaling businesses. Outside of work, he’s a talented musician, competitive athlete, and lifelong traveler with a deep curiosity for the world and its cultures.
