A fourth-generation real estate investor, Michael began his career in residential real estate in 1989, cultivating a deep appreciation for historic properties and community revitalization. At 27, he purchased his first single-family rental home in Atlanta, launching a lifelong passion that continued alongside his global finance career.
Over more than 25 years, Michael has acquired, developed and managed a diverse portfolio of single-family rentals and commercial real estate, while maintaining a disciplined focus on risk and long-term value.
Before co-founding Three Bulls Capital, Michael served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Americas Desk at HSBC in China from 2018 to 2021, where he led the firm's growth strategy between the Americas and China.
Michael has also served as a Practitioner in Residence at the University of Maryland's Smith School of Business, mentoring graduate students and designing career-focused programming. He is a Distinguished Alumni Ambassador for Georgia Tech's Global Executive MBA Program.
Michael's leadership extends beyond investing. He serves as a Board Trustee of Gordon State College and as a Member of the Board of Advisors for the Technology Association of Georgia. He previously served as Treasurer and Board Member of the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and is also a Rotarian, reflecting his commitment to education, technology, business leadership and community development.
Known for his intensity and love of learning, Michael is an Ironman triathlete, competitive marathoner and ultra-distance runner. His curiosity and global mindset have taken him across Latin America, Europe and Asia, fueling a lifelong engagement with language, culture and people.
